In the recent Windows 10 update, we are seeing a new weather icon on the bottom taskbar. Microsoft keeps on introducing new features, which sometimes proves cool but most of the time they are not so required.
Similarly, the placing of this weather widget sometimes results in accidentally clicking or hover to show up a big large popover which annoys mostly when the taskbar is full of other important items.
So, a million-dollar question…
How to disable this weather/news widget from the taskbar?
It’s very easy to disable, in 3 clicks…
Step 1) right-click on the widget.
Step 2) Select Turn Off
That’s it… I know it’s heartbreaking…. but Microsoft we’ll live without it… Thanks!!!
