Ionic Framework provides a very powerful and fully loaded Slider which can be modified in any form. You can check it’s demo page, we can have similar Slider/ Carousel in the Ionic app using Slider Component.
In Ionic Application, we can check battery Status of the mobile device using Cordova and Ionic Native plugins. By using these plugin we can call methods to get battery percentage and we can also check if the device is plugged to a power source.
To make it more convenient, we can add a feature to make calls directly through the application. In this post, we will create an Ionic 4 application, in which we can directly call a number by using Cordova and Ionic Native plugins.
In this tutorial, we will create an Ionic 3/4 application to demonstrate How to Add YouTube Video Player. We will Install the Cordova plugin and Ionic Native Wrapper to add functionality in Ionic 3/4 Application by using which YouTube’s Player can be opened to Play any YouTube video right from the Ionic application itself. To play a Video we need to provide the ID of video which we want to play.
previously we implemented Geolocation and Geocoder plugins in Ionic 3 application, In this post, we will create an application in latest Ionic version 4 beta. Using Geolocation service we can get Lattitude, Longitude, Accuracy of location, Speed, Altitude etc of the device. After that Latitude and Longitude can be used to get Addresses available on these coordinates. To fetch address from coordinates of the device, we use Geocoder service.
In this tutorial, we will implement a Barcode or QR Scanner / Encoder plugin in Ionic 4 application. Barcodes and QR codes are widely used for multiple purposes like to add a link where a user doesn’t need to type the whole URL it can be easily scanned from a QR code. Barcodes can also be seen everywhere on the day to day items like eatables clothes etc, we can wimple scan these barcodes to get information like item code date of manufacturing, prices etc.
As seen in many Android native applications like chrome browser we usually have a user-friendly feature pull to refresh. Ionic provides the same component to add Pull Down feature in a hybrid environment. In this post, we will implement Pull Refresher in Ionic 4 application.
In this post, we will discuss on how to show local images in application asset’s images folder in Image / Photo viewer having basic functionalities like Pan, Zoom, Share download image on device etc.
