A few days back I was facing a strange issue i.e Plugin Not Installed! in of my Ionic 3 Application. The weird thing about this issue was, the application was working fine in development APK and even after creating productions release of APK it was working fine, the issue used to happen when I installed the application from Playstore after release.
In the previous post, we discussed how to get location coordinates using Geolocation and then converting those coordinates into understandable addresses. But adding a map in a mobile application really adds much value making it more useful and interactive. Google Map API can be used to add fully featured maps anywhere, In this post, we will implement Maps in Ionic 4 Application and also use Geolocation and Geocoder plugin to fetch device location then fetch Address available for those coordinates we get.
Clipboard is referred to a special memory space provided in the device, specialized to keep last copied data like text, images, files etc. Clipboard is a temporary space which is washed out as user copies new data and replaces existing data.
In the previous post we discuss on the implementation of Clipboard plugin in Ionic version 3, but here we will implement the clipboard plugin in Ionic latest version 4. It is still in beta phase but soon it will be available as stable.
In this tutorial we will implement Clipboard or Copy Paste plugin in Ionic 4 application, using which developer can provide a handy operation to a user for easy copy and paste features on some event like button click as sometimes it takes much time to select text and paste it somewhere by deleting existing and long tap to paste.
In a native application like android, we have various approaches to keep a service or operation running while the application is minimized or not in the foreground. But in a hybrid application like built-in Ionic framework, we have some limitation to do that as the applications are not that much flexible to use background services or any broadcasts attached to some working threads.

This article is in continuation of my first post on Ionic Sliders. You can check my previous post on How to Create Multiple Slides on Single View. Ionic 4 Slider provides a default DOTS pagination style, here I will Quickly show how to add Custom Pagination in Two Following Ways
Ionic Framework provides a very powerful and fully loaded Slider which can be modified in any form. Ionic Slider is basically SwiperJS slider, it provides a number of ways a slider/ carousel can be built in a view. You can check it’s demo page, we can have similar Slider/ Carousel in the Ionic app using Slider Component.
Applications these days provide features to get locations like we implemented device location plugin to get location coordinates when a user clicks a button, But what if we want to get location updates after fixed intervals of time. To track location we can’t always keep an application open, In that case, we need to track location when the application is in the background.
In Ionic Application, we can check battery Status of the mobile device using Cordova and Ionic Native plugins. By using these plugin we can call methods to get battery percentage and we can also check if the device is plugged to a power source.
To make it more convenient, we can add a feature to make calls directly through the application. In this post, we will create an Ionic 4 application, in which we can directly call a number by using Cordova and Ionic Native plugins.
